Head over to Huntington Botanical Gardens to escape the hustle and bustle. The have a cool Children's Garden where the kids can cool off on those hot California days. Admission is a bit pricey at $15-$20 per Adult, but you do get what you pay for. 

First Thursday of the month is FREE, but tickets must be reserved in advance.
